We have officially started the construction of a new Daycare Center for the many children currently staing at the Tra Vinh shelter in the Mekong Delta.
Ms Thien and her loyal helpers will also be able to stay in the new building to be close to the children. We are making sure there is enough space for sleeping rooms, a teaching room, a new kitchen and bath/toilet facilities.

And of course, there needs to be enough space for play! The overall project plan also includes a covered shelter area for the raining season and an outside playground. The latter still needs to be fully sponsored or fundraised for – but MASD will manage this.

Our visit today was a happy and busy one – with a visit from the hairdresser and a group of young student. MASD is always pleased to see the effort of others to give a little kindness and support to the shelter. What an amazing group of young adults !
